Allah explained that the reason why people should worship Him alone is that He is the only One Who deserves to be praised and worshipped, because of His perfect essence and sublime attributes.

Scholars have emphasized that Allah deserves, because of what He is, to be loved and worshipped, and that His Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) should be loved for His sake. There is a natural inclination in people’s hearts to love and worship Allah; there is also a natural inclination in their hearts to learn about Him and believe in Him.
